Delhi-NCR likely to receive more rain over next three days; IMD issues yellow alert · thehansindia.com

The weather experts in India, called the India Meteorological Department, say it will keep raining in Delhi and nearby areas for the next three days.

They have put out a yellow alert to tell everyone to be careful.

The rain is giving people a break from the hot and sticky weather of the past week.

On Thursday, it rained heavily all day long.

The rain made the city cooler, with the daytime temperature reaching only 27.6 degrees, much lower than usual for this time of year.

Some roads got flooded with water, which slowed down cars and made travel difficult.

The most rain, more than 60 mm, fell at Lodhi Road.

Police in Gurugram asked offices to let people work from home so the roads would not be too crowded.

There is also a small chance of flash flooding in some low-lying neighbourhoods.

So if you live there, keep your umbrella ready.
