India-Maldives Defence Delegation Discusses Cooperation and Regional Security
A group from India’s National Defence College visited the Maldives.
They met Defence Minister Hassan Rasheed in Male.
The two sides talked about working together on defence and keeping the region secure.
The group also spoke with military leaders and other security officials.
Its visit was meant to help India and the Maldives better understand shared concerns.
The delegation also met Indian High Commissioner G Balasubramanian.

She highlighted the Greater Male’ Connectivity Project as an important example of cooperation.
