Odesa port damaged in Russian attack, eight wounded, Zelenskiy says

At night, the country of Russia attacked a city in Ukraine called Odesa.

The attack hurt Odesa's port, where big ships come to load and unload things.

Eight people got hurt during the attack.

Ukraine's leader, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, told people about what happened.

He said Russia is fighting against food safety for the whole world.

That is because Ukraine grows lots of food and sends it to other countries.

Most of that food leaves Ukraine through the seaports in Odesa.

When the port is damaged, it is harder for food to reach countries that need it.

So the attack hurts people in many countries, not just Ukraine.
