Russia says it downed 502 Ukrainian drones, struck Odesa port

Russia and Ukraine are fighting a war.

Russia has an important government office called the Defence Ministry.

That office said it stopped 502 flying machines called drones in just one night.

Drones are like remote-controlled robots that fly without a pilot inside.

Russia also said it hit a place that stores fuel in the port city of Odesa.

Fuel is what makes cars, trucks, and other machines go.

Russia said that fuel was being used to help Ukrainian soldiers.

But we cannot be sure everything Russia said is true.

A news organization called Reuters said it could not check the information by itself.
