Drone attack kills child, damages enterprises in Russia's Novorossiysk
Russia and Ukraine are fighting a war.
One night, flying machines called drones attacked a big Russian port city named Novorossiysk.
The drones hit houses and businesses, and sadly a child died and several people were hurt.
Over another city called Sevastopol, soldiers shot down more than three dozen drones, so nobody was injured there.
At the same time, Russia attacked parts of Ukraine.
A shopping mall in the city of Zaporizhzhia caught fire, people lost electricity, and the big seaport of Odesa was damaged.
Russia says it is attacking Ukraine's food and warehouse buildings because Ukraine attacks Russia's ports and energy places.
Ukraine's leader, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, says he gave American negotiators a plan to try to end the war.
An overnight drone attack on the Russian Black Sea port city of Novorossiysk killed a child and wounded eight people, its mayor said.
The attack damaged four enterprises and more than two dozen residential buildings, and another person was killed in the wider Krasnodar region.
In Sevastopol, in Russia-occupied Crimea, more than three dozen drones were downed with only a few houses damaged and no injuries.
Russian strikes set a shopping mall ablaze in Zaporizhzhia, cutting power to some 1,200 consumers, and damaged infrastructure in Odesa.
Moscow said it has intensified strikes on Ukrainian food, agriculture and warehouse facilities in response to Kyiv's attacks on Russian energy, port and logistic hubs.
