Hyderabad Police Commissioner Inspects Bonalu Security at Laldarwaja Temple
In the city of Hyderabad, people are celebrating a big festival called Bonalu.
They visit a temple to pray to the goddess Ammavari.
A police leader, Mr. Sajjanar, went to the temple on Sunday.
He wanted to make sure everyone was safe.
He said about 2,400 police officers are helping to protect the people.
The officers work in two groups, or shifts.
Special cameras and flying drones are watching the temple and the streets.
The cameras use smart technology to spot people who might steal.
There is also a control room where police watch everything.
Thanks to these arrangements, everyone can enjoy the festival peacefully.
City police commissioner V.C. Sajjanar inspected security arrangements at Lal Darwaja Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Ammavari Temple on the occasion of Ashada Masa Bonalu.
Around 2,400 police personnel have been divided into two shifts for security duties.
Crime teams have been deployed and picketing arranged at the temples for the protection of devotees.
Drones and additional CCTV cameras were installed at the temple premises and along procession routes, with a special command control room set up at Laldarwaja.
Sajjanar said latest AI technology is being used, with AI cameras constantly monitoring to quickly identify thieves and chain snatchers.
