Abhinandan Varthaman Joins FLY91 as Pilot

Abhinandan Varthaman, a former Indian Air Force pilot who shot down a Pakistani jet in 2019, has joined a new airline called FLY91.

He was awarded the Vir Chakra for his bravery.

FLY91 is a small airline that started flying earlier this year and has planes that fly between different cities.

Abhinandan is now flying passengers instead of fighter jets.

The airline has bases in Goa and Hyderabad and uses six planes.

The airline did not share more details about his joining.
