The agreement is between the Softball Association of India and Softball New Zealand.

It aims to help softball grow in both countries.

Players will receive more development opportunities.

Coaches and technical officials will also be supported.

The agreement includes better infrastructure and high-performance systems.

Young players and women will have special development programmes.

The countries will also start an Indo-New Zealand Softball Series.

International coaches will support India’s national teams.

The agreement was inspired by the visions of Narendra Modi and Christopher Luxon.
