Third Uddipakam Workbook Series Boosts Tribal Students' Learning

Some children in India come from tribal communities and go to special government schools.

Many of these children first find it hard to learn Telugu because it is not the language they speak at home.

To help them, an agency called the Bhadrachalam ITDA made special practice books called Uddipakam workbooks.

The first two sets of workbooks were given to students in Ashram High Schools and Government Adarsha Schools.

After using them, students got much better at reading, writing and maths.

Now the agency has made a third set of workbooks.

The new books also teach soft skills and exciting new subjects like artificial intelligence and robotics, plus culture and sports.

The workbooks have questions that build logical thinking and problem-solving skills, which helps students prepare for big entrance exams.

Nearly 95 out of 100 students in Ashram High Schools did excellent work with the workbooks.

More families are now sending their children to these schools, so many more students joined this year.
