Tata Punch EV Facelift Earns 5‑Star Bharat NCAP Rating
Tata Motors made a new version of its small electric SUV, the Punch EV.
Safety testers in India gave it the highest score, 5 stars, for keeping people safe in crashes.
The car did very well in tests that check how it protects adults and children.
It has many safety gadgets like airbags, stability control, and seat‑belt reminders.
Even though its adult safety score is a tiny bit lower than the older version, the child safety score stayed the same, so the car is still very safe.
Tata Punch EV facelift received a 5‑star Bharat NCAP rating.
Adult occupant protection scored 31.09 out of 32; child protection scored 45 out of 49.
Crash tests included 15.28/16 frontal offset, 15.80/16 side movable, and a successful side pole impact.
All variants come with six airbags, ESC, ABS, ISOFIX, seat‑belt reminders, and pedestrian protection.
Adult score is slightly lower than the 2024 pre‑facelift model (31.46), while child score remains unchanged.
