Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Q1 net loss widens 6% to Rs 249 crore
There is a big clothing company in India called Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail.
It owns stores that sell clothes to many people.
The company recently told everyone how much money it made or lost.
It lost more money this time than it did last year.
Even though it sold more clothes and earned more money, it also had to spend more money.
The spending grew faster than the money coming in, so the loss became bigger.
Some parts of the company lost a lot of money, especially the traditional clothing business.
Another part of the company, called Pantaloons, made a tiny bit of profit.
The company told investors about these numbers through an official report.
The share price of the company ended the day about the same as it started.
