Agastya Energy plans Rs 7,800 crore solar ingot-wafer plant

A company called Agastya Green Energy makes parts for solar panels.

They already make solar cells and solar modules.

Now they want to make even more parts called ingots and wafers.

Ingots and wafers are the basic building blocks used to make solar cells.

They plan to build a new factory in a place called Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The factory will be in an area called the Orvakal Industrial Area.

Building this factory will cost about Rs 7,800 crore, which is a very large amount of money.

The new factory will be able to make 12 GW of ingots and 12 GW of wafers.

This will help India make more solar parts at home instead of buying them from other countries.
