Andhra Pradesh's First Pilot Training Centre Set For Kurnool Launch
Andhra Pradesh is getting its first centre for training pilots.
It is being built at Kurnool Airport by Orient Flights Aviation Academy.
The centre has classrooms, a hangar and room for four training planes.
A special taxiway will help the planes reach the runway.
The project cost about Rs 100 crore.
Three planes will be moved there from Mysuru.
Students will no longer need to travel to Mysuru for practical flying lessons.
The academy may also teach people to work as ground staff and cabin crew.
Orient Flights Aviation Academy is preparing to launch Andhra Pradesh’s first pilot training centre at Kurnool Airport.
The centre occupies 1.25 acres and includes a training building, hangar, taxiway access and space for four aircraft.
The facility represents an investment of approximately Rs 100 crore and follows Directorate General of Civil Aviation norms.
