Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra has arrived in Ayodhya to begin work as the new CEO of the Ram Temple Trust.

He said he was holding introductory meetings before announcing his plans.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also due to visit Ayodhya.

He was expected to visit Hanumangarhi and the Ram Temple.

The chief minister was also scheduled to give appointment letters to new anganwadi workers and helpers.

The trust changed several senior positions after a temple donation theft issue in June.

Govind Dev Giri became the new general secretary.

Mahesh Bhagchandka became the new treasurer, and three people were named new trustees.
