NEET MDS 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Registration From August 18
Some students in India want to become special tooth doctors called dentists.
They must first pass a big test called NEET MDS.
A group called MCC helps these students get into dental schools.
On August 18, students who passed the test can start signing up for a dental school seat.
Signing up lasts until August 23.
During that time, students pick the schools they like best and lock in their choices.
On August 26, the group tells each student which school they got into.
There are more chances in September and October for students who did not get a seat.
Students need to bring papers showing they passed the test and finished their earlier dental studies.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the NEET MDS 2026 counselling schedule for admission to Master of Dental Surgery programmes.
Round 1 registration will run from August 18 to August 23, with choice filling and locking from August 19 to 23.
Round 1 seat allotment results are scheduled to be announced on August 26.
Round 2 registration runs September 3 to 8 (allotment September 11), and Round 3 registration runs September 22 to 27 (allotment September 30).
Stray vacancy registration is set for October 12 to 14 with seat allotment on October 16; candidates need documents including the NEET MDS 2026 scorecard, BDS degree certificate and internship completion certificate.
