Vijay AI Video Case: Accused Sent on 2-Day Transit Remand to Chennai Police · deccanchronicle.com

A Delhi court allowed Chennai Police to take a man named Neeraj to Chennai for questioning.

Police say he helped run social media pages using artificial intelligence to create fake videos and pictures of Vijay.

The fake content allegedly made Vijay appear to promise money, houses, bikes and other benefits.

One Facebook page was called “Vijay Thalapathi Help.”

Police say the page used Vijay’s picture and a phone number registered to Neeraj.

They believe several accounts may have been managed from different states.

Police are investigating possible impersonation, forgery and cheating.

The court ordered that Neeraj be taken to Chennai with security.

He must be presented before a Chennai magistrate by September 13, 2026.
