AP Banks To Facilitate Pension Withdrawals On October 1
Andhra Pradesh pensioners are scheduled to receive their pensions on October 1.
Banks will open for limited access that morning despite a previous bank holiday and a planned employee strike.
Government staff will collect the needed cash from banks.
They will then deliver pensions to people at their homes that afternoon.
The government has set aside ₹2,692.34 crore for 61.80 lakh beneficiaries.
Some money will go directly into pensioners’ bank accounts.
A small pilot will use the SNA SPARSH system in Gajapathinagaram mandal.
