A report from GSMA, a group that studies mobile internet, says India will use a fast new kind of internet called 5G a lot in the future.

By the year 2030, about 62 out of every 100 people in India will be able to use 5G.

That is more than the average for the Asia Pacific region, which will be about 50 out of 100.

5G makes internet on phones much faster.

Today, almost all people in South Asia can find a mobile network, since the gap fell from 30 per cent to under 5 per cent.

But the report says many still face problems, like phones being too expensive or not knowing how to use them.

In fact, India has already trained more than 64 million people in villages to use digital tools.

Mobile internet will also help the economy, adding about $1.4 trillion to the region by 2030.

India is even planning ahead for 6G, an even faster internet for the future.
