Odisha CM Launches Seva Sankalp Abhiyan With Blood Camp
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi started a month-long campaign called Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
It began with a large blood donation event in Bhubaneswar.
The organisers hoped to collect more than 6,500 units of blood.
Majhi said donated blood can save lives and cannot be made in a factory.
Odisha also announced a separate plan to improve blood banks.
That plan has an allocation of Rs 50.54 crore in the 2026-27 Budget.
The campaign is meant to honour Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service journey.
Majhi asked young people to spend some time helping society and the nation.
