Bhopal Illuminates 2.5 Lakh Diyas For PM Modi’s Birthday
People in Bhopal lit about 250,000 small clay lamps for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday.
They prayed for his good health and long life.
The event also recognized his 25 years of public service.
Lamps were lit at 11 important places across 17 villages.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav led the celebrations.
The event began a month-long program called Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
During the program, people will organize health camps and blood-donation drives.
They will also offer free property-registration services.
Several ministers, elected representatives and other BJP leaders joined the lamp-lighting.
