A big telephone company called BSNL has built lots of new mobile towers.

The new towers send a 4G signal that helps phones connect and use the internet.

BSNL built 572 new 4G towers in the Chittoor area over the past 18 months.

Before this work, the area only had 76 working 4G towers.

The new towers brought mobile service to villages that had little or no phone signal.

112 of the towers were built with help from a government project called Digital Bharat Nidhi.

BSNL is planning to build 56 more 4G towers in the area.

Because of the better network, the number of BSNL mobile customers grew from 3.6 lakh to 4.4 lakh in two months.
