IMD forecasts Delhi-NCR rainfall until August 16 amid monsoon surge
The weather in Delhi and nearby areas turned nice and cool on Tuesday morning.

The weather office says it will keep raining a little in Delhi until August 16.
Many other parts of India will also get a lot of rain in the coming days.
There could be heavy rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds in some places.
A big weather system called the monsoon is bringing all this rain.
Very heavy rain is possible in a few places like East Rajasthan and parts of Madhya Pradesh.
People in Delhi are being told to be careful of sudden heavy showers and water on the roads.
Delhi also just had its wettest August day in two years.
More rain is expected on August 13 as well.

The IMD has predicted light to moderate rainfall in the national capital and adjoining areas until August 16.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected across northwest, central, eastern, northeastern and western India, with thunderstorms and lightning likely.
Delhi and Haryana are expected to receive fairly widespread to widespread rainfall on August 11, with another spell forecast for August 13.
Delhi recently recorded its wettest August day in two years, with 98.7 mm of rain at the Safdarjung observatory.
