Delhi-NCR Braces for Cloudy Skies, Rain Spells Till August 17
The weather in Delhi is getting ready to change.
The sky will be covered with clouds, and rain will fall off and on during the day.
The rain will help cool things down a little from the sticky, humid heat.
The temperature will stay close to 29 degrees for most of the day.
Some nearby cities, like Noida and Ghaziabad, might get really heavy rain with thunder and lightning.
Other nearby cities will just have cloudy skies and some rain.
The rain is expected to continue on and off until August 17.
Even with the rain, the air quality is still not great, and one area called Anand Vihar has the worst air in the city.
The monsoon, which is the rainy season, is still very active across many parts of India.
Delhi and NCR are expected to see cloudy skies and intermittent rainfall on Wednesday, with light showers likely to persist until August 17.
The IMD forecasts a minimum temperature of around 29 degrees Celsius and a maximum of nearly 36 degrees Celsius in Delhi.
Noida and Ghaziabad may experience heavy showers with thunderstorms and lightning, while Faridabad and Gurugram will see overcast conditions.
Delhi's air quality remained in the 'poor' category, with Anand Vihar recording the highest AQI at 214.
The IMD says the Southwest Monsoon will stay active over Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, bringing heavy rain to parts of several northern, western, and central Indian states.
