Amit Shah to Review SSB Projects, Border Security in Siliguri

Amit Shah is visiting Siliguri during a three-day trip to West Bengal.

He will meet members of the Sashastra Seema Bal, which guards important border areas.

He is expected to open new projects and begin work on other SSB projects.

He will also share a traditional communal meal with SSB personnel.

Later, he will visit an exhibition about three new criminal laws.

These laws replaced three older laws on July 1, 2024.

Shah will also take part in meetings about border security.

The meetings will focus especially on the Siliguri Corridor, an important route to northeastern India.
