Amit Shah to Review SSB Projects, Border Security in Siliguri
Amit Shah is visiting Siliguri during a three-day trip to West Bengal.
He will meet members of the Sashastra Seema Bal, which guards important border areas.
He is expected to open new projects and begin work on other SSB projects.
He will also share a traditional communal meal with SSB personnel.
Later, he will visit an exhibition about three new criminal laws.

He will inaugurate and lay foundations for Sashastra Seema Bal infrastructure projects, interact with personnel, and join a traditional “Bara Khana” meal.
Shah will visit the “Five Pillars: Transformed Justice System” exhibition at Kawakhali Ground around 2:30 p.m.
The exhibition highlights three criminal laws that took effect on July 1, 2024, replacing the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Indian Evidence Act.
His three-day visit includes security meetings focused on the Siliguri Corridor and coordination among border and intelligence agencies.
