Blinkit Delivery Partner Allegedly Assaulted Over Delayed Order

A Blinkit worker named Anup Chauhan was delivering an order in Solan.

The order was reportedly late.

The customer, Puneet Sharma, and Chauhan argued on the phone.

Later, they met at a bus stop so Sharma could collect the order.

Police said the two then became involved in a small physical fight.

Chauhan reported the incident to police around 2 a.m.

on Thursday.

Police initially had trouble identifying the customer because his phone number was not shown in the Blinkit app.

Investigators later identified him as Puneet Sharma.
