Telangana Government Approves Two DA Installments With October Salary
The Telangana government has decided to give workers and pensioners two pending Dearness Allowance payments.
Dearness Allowance is extra money added to help with rising costs.
The payments are for January 2024 and July 2024.
They will be included with the October salary, which is credited on November 1.
Together, the two payments increase salaries by 6.37 percent.
An employee earning ₹1 lakh as basic pay would get ₹6,370 more.
The government needs ₹6,174 crore to pay the arrears.
Officials have not yet issued detailed orders explaining how the arrears will be paid in installments.
