Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met representatives of government employees and pensioners.

He approved creating the state’s 12th Pay Revision Commission to review salaries and benefits.

Two delayed inflation-related payments, called Dearness Allowances, will be paid with salaries from October 1, 2026.

Pensioners will also receive these two delayed payments.

Employees will receive money for leave they did not use in 2022 by the coming Sankranti festival.

Police personnel will get payment for one extra surrender leave around Dasara.

Older pensioners will receive extra money beginning in January 2027.

The government said the decisions will cost about Rs.

2,880 crore each year and will support the employee healthcare scheme.
