Doctor Found Dead in Guwahati Hospital ICU, Probe Launched
A doctor named Dr Prayash Singhal was found dead inside an ICU chamber at a hospital in Guwahati.
He had arrived at the hospital on Tuesday night.
During the night, he complained of stomach pain and vomiting.
Hospital staff gave him medicine and an injection.
He later went to the doctors’ room.
Staff found him unresponsive at about 4 a.m.
on Wednesday.
Police are investigating what happened.
Doctors and officials said it is too early to know how he died, and an examination of his body will provide more information.
