Telangana Genco Wins State Award for RTI Implementation
Telangana Power Generation Corporation received a state award for its work under the Right to Information Act.
The award was for sharing information voluntarily.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla presented it to the corporation’s chairman, Dr S. Harish.
The presentation took place in Hyderabad on Friday.
The Telangana Information Commission praised the corporation’s work.
Dr Harish congratulated the team and officers who helped with RTI.
He said the award showed the organization wanted to be open with the public.
