Suryapet Named Telangana’s Best District for RTI Implementation

Suryapet district in Telangana received an award for putting the Right to Information law into practice well.

This law lets people ask government offices for information.

District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar accepted the award from Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla.

The ceremony took place in Hyderabad during RTI Week Celebrations–2026.

Suryapet’s administration worked to answer requests on time and keep track of them.

It also encouraged government departments to work together.

These efforts were recognized as helping people get information and supporting accountable government.
