Indore Adds Four Compact Fire Bikes to Reach Narrow Lanes

Fire engines are very big, and sometimes they cannot fit into narrow streets in busy cities.

The city of Indore in India got four special fire bikes to help with this problem.

Fire bikes are small, fast vehicles that can carry water and squeeze through tight lanes.

Each bike can carry up to 40 litres of water and 4 litres of foam to put out fires.

The bikes can also get extra water from borewells or other water sources nearby.

The Chief Minister of the state, Mohan Yadav, asked for these bikes to be added.

The bikes are kept at the Laxmibai Nagar Fire Station and will soon be officially dedicated to the public.

Firefighters are getting special training to operate the new machines.

This will help firefighters reach crowded places like markets much faster and keep citizens safer during emergencies.
