Mumbai Port Authority added three new fire trucks and a large water-removal pump.

The equipment was commissioned at Victoria Docks on 19 August 2026.

The fire trucks will help the Port Fire Service respond to fires around the port.

The port includes ships, warehouses, oil jetties, chemicals and other facilities.

The trucks can spray water over long distances, helping firefighters work from a safer distance.

They also carry water and foam to support longer firefighting operations.

The new pump can remove large amounts of water from flooded areas.
