Truck kills three wage workers, injures nine in North Dinajpur
Some workers in a place called North Dinajpur ride a truck every morning to get to their jobs at a market called Baliaparahaat.
One Friday morning, they arrived and started getting off the truck.
Suddenly, another truck, which was heading to Malda, lost control and crashed into their vehicle.
Three workers died because of the crash.
Their names were Chepo Barman, Aloka Barman, and Topo Mardi.
Two of them were women.
Nine other workers got hurt and were taken to hospitals for treatment.
Police came to help and took the injured people to a health centre and then to a bigger hospital.
Police found the truck that caused the accident, but the driver had run away.
The police are still looking for the driver.
