Police reached the area around 10pm, brought the situation under control and continued monitoring it.
All seven injured people were treated initially at Islampur subdivisional hospital; two were referred to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital in Siliguri.
Separately, Cooch Behar police arrested Bishnu Barman and seized 420 liquor bottles from an SUV.
