Hyderabad Police Arrest Three Burglars, Seize Rs 12 Lakh Property
Police in Hyderabad, a big city in India, caught four people they believe were breaking into homes and stealing things.
Three of them are Derangula Hari Babu, also called Nani, Tanniru Surya, also called Suri, and Narala Rahul.
Police say Nani just got out of jail in June 2026 and then started the group with Surya and Rahul.
They are suspected in many theft cases: Nani in 27, Surya in 13, and Rahul in three.
Right now, police think they are involved in 11 recent cases in different parts of the city.
The police also caught an auto rickshaw driver named Sabavat Ravi, who they say helped by keeping or selling the stolen things.
Police found gold, silver, phones, tools, and two motorcycles, all worth about 12 lakh rupees, which is a lot of money.
Two of the suspects did not have jobs, while Rahul worked as a technician who fixes inverters.
The four arrested people are now in police custody.
Hyderabad Police's Task Force, along with local police, arrested three habitual offenders and one receiver of stolen property in a series of house-breaking and property offences.
Main accused Derangula Hari Babu alias Nani (21), released from jail in June 2026, formed a gang with Tanniru Surya alias Suri (22) and Narala Rahul (21).
Nani is involved in 27 cases, Surya in 13, and Rahul in three; the trio is currently wanted in 11 cases across police station limits including Gowraram, Sangareddy, and Nagole.
Police seized stolen property worth Rs 12 lakh, including 80 grams of gold, 258 grams of silver, four mobile phones, a screwdriver, an iron rod, and two motorcycles.
Auto rickshaw driver Sabavat Ravi (27) of Moulali was also apprehended for receiving stolen property; Nani and Surya were unemployed while Rahul worked as an inverter technician.
