Maharashtra State Film Awards 2025 Honor Top Cinema Figures
The Maharashtra state government announced the winners of its 2025 film awards.
Four famous people were chosen: Salim Khan, a famous writer; Rani Mukerji, a popular actress; Prasad Oak, a well‑known Marathi actor and director; and Pt Hridaynath Mangeshkar, a music composer.
Prasad Oak got a special award named after the legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram.
He thanked the jury and said the award made him very proud.
The awards celebrate people who have helped make movies in India.
They were announced by the state’s tourism and cultural department.
The ceremony is part of Maharashtra’s effort to support its film industry.
