Maharashtra Awards 2025: Mangeshkar, Khan, Oak, Mukerji Honored

The state of Maharashtra in India gave big awards to four famous people who have worked in movies.

Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, a music composer, got a lifetime award named after a famous filmmaker.

Salim Khan, a writer, also got a lifetime award.

Prasad Oak, an actor‑director, and Rani Mukerji, an actress, got special awards named after the same filmmakers.

The awards were announced by the state minister Ashish Shelar and were written down in an official letter.

They are meant to thank these people for helping Indian movies grow.
