Telangana Reaches 9 Lakh Students Through Digital STEM Programme
Telangana started a digital programme to help students learn science and mathematics.
In its first year, more than 9 lakh students joined it.
Teachers were trained through several levels of trainers.
First, 200 Master Trainers were prepared.
They trained Mandal Resource Persons, who trained teachers in their areas.
School leaders helped by using computers already available in schools.
Students were encouraged to practise regularly.
In KGBVs, more than one lakh students registered, and science was especially popular.

A statewide cascade training model ensured mathematics and science teachers received training.
The State Council of Educational Research and Training and Khan Academy India prepared 200 Master Trainers.
Master Trainers trained Mandal Resource Persons, who then trained teachers at the mandal level.
KGBVs recorded more than one lakh registrations, nearly 84% of their student base, with strong interest in science.
