Teacher’s Telugu Digital Platform Expands Government School Learning
Dr Gollapelli Ganesh is a teacher who created a website called Telangana Badi.
It helps government school students and teachers learn Telugu.
The website has lessons, quizzes, grammar help, pictures and textbook PDFs.
The lessons are designed for students in Classes VI to X. Ganesh created it because Telugu digital materials were harder to find than resources for some other subjects.
Students and teachers use the materials on classroom digital panels and for study.
More than 30,000 people visit the website each month.
Ganesh now wants to make it more interactive so students can practice grammar and vocabulary and correct their own mistakes.
Dr Gollapelli Ganesh developed Telangana Badi to provide free Telugu learning resources for government school students and teachers.
The platform offers SCERT-based lessons, quizzes, grammar material, textbook PDFs and visual resources for Classes VI to X.
Telangana Badi receives an average of more than 30,000 visitors each month.
Ganesh’s academic and technical experience includes a PhD on Telugu language and literature online and work in graphic design and web development.
He received the Jagtial District Best Teacher Award in 2020 and the Telangana State Best Teacher Award in 2025.
