Three Arrested After Alleged Gangrape of Minor in Pachmarhi
Police in Pachmarhi arrested three men over the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old student.
The suspects were identified as a gypsy driver and two hotel workers.
Police said the men took the student and her friend to a forest area by saying they were going on a picnic.
The student’s friend was allegedly tied to the vehicle while the assault took place.
The suspects allegedly warned them not to tell anyone.
The student later told her family after she stopped going to school.
Her family reported the matter to police.
Police recorded her statement, arranged a medical examination, and arrested the three suspects.
