Floods in Chhattisgarh Leave Thousands Rescued and Several Missing
Heavy rain caused rivers in Chhattisgarh to rise and flood nearby villages and towns.

Flooding worsened in Bastar and nearby areas after upstream inflows and dam releases raised river levels.

Relief camps were established across affected districts, including 43 camps in Bastar serving more than 5,000 people.
Rescue operations also assisted stranded motorists and residents in Durg, Raipur, Dhamtari and Balodabazar-Bhatapara.
