Tokyo tops Time Out's global rankings for Gen Z-friendly cities

A magazine called Time Out made a list of the best cities in the world for Gen Z, which is the name for people who are mostly in their teens and twenties.

They asked people under 30 years old which cities feel exciting, lively, and fun to live in.

Tokyo, a big city in Japan, came in first place.

Young people like Tokyo because it has lots of cool things to do, like art shows, concerts, plays, tasty food, and fun places to go out at night.

But having fun things around is not enough — young people also need to be able to afford them.

The survey showed that staying active, making new friends easily, going to book events, and being able to walk everywhere are also very important.

All these things together help young people live life to the fullest.

That is why Tokyo was chosen as the number one city for Gen Z around the world.
