J&K CM Omar Abdullah visits Rajouri flood areas, assures support
Something very scary happened in a place called Jammu and Kashmir.
Very heavy rain, called cloudbursts, fell during July and August.
This caused big floods called flash floods, and mudslides, which are like giant rivers of mud.
The floods hurt people's homes, roads, bridges, and electric wires.
Very sadly, at least 11 people died, including 8 people from one family.
The leader of Jammu and Kashmir, whose name is Omar Abdullah, went to visit the places that were hurt.
He talked to the families who lost things and told them the government will help them.
He promised to give them support so they can rebuild their homes and lives.

The floods destroyed homes, cattle sheds, vehicles, footbridges, roads, sections of the Rajouri-Poonch National Highway, and power lines.
The Chief Minister reviewed damage to public infrastructure and livelihoods and interacted with affected families during his visit.
