Heavy Rain Lashes Tamil Nadu, Waterlogging Reported in Several Areas
On Sunday, it rained in many places in a part of India called Tamil Nadu.
The big city of Chennai got moderate rain in several neighborhoods.
The rain made the temperature cooler and gave people relief from the warm weather.
Some areas, like parts of Ranipet district, got very heavy rain with strong winds.
The heavy rain caused water to collect on low parts of some roads, which is called waterlogging.
Waterlogging made it harder for motorists and residents to get around.
The weather department says light to moderate rain is expected in the coming days.
Rain may also fall in the neighboring area of Puducherry.
