Bay Depressions Fail to Bring Rain to Telangana Amid Deficit
Several storm-like weather systems have formed over the Bay of Bengal.
Most of them have not moved toward Telangana.
Because of this, Telangana has received much less rain than usual this month.
Its rainfall is 37 percent below normal for the month.
The state’s total monsoon rainfall is 17 percent below normal.
One system in late July took a different path and brought helpful rain.
