Plaster Collapse Reveals Cracks in 30-Year-Old Kausa Building
Some plaster fell from an older building in the Kausa area of Mumbra.

The building houses 17 residential flats and 14 commercial shops, with nearly 100 residents reportedly living there.
An inspection found visible cracks along the building’s walls and structural support columns.
Officials said the structure is classified as C-3, allowing necessary repairs while residents remain in occupancy.
The Thane Municipal Corporation issued notices ordering property owners to carry out immediate structural repairs; no injuries or casualties were reported.
