Uttar Pradesh to Procure Over One Million Training Cartridges
Uttar Pradesh is preparing to train 41,424 new Home Guard recruits.
The government plans to buy more than one million cartridges for their practice.
The cartridges will be used to teach safe weapons handling and firing.
The state will also buy 155 rifles for the training.
The cartridge purchase is expected to cost Rs 3.55 crore.
The recruits are currently completing selection tests and other checks.
Their training is planned to begin in November and last 90 days.
After training, they are expected to start working in the field by February.
