Andhra government rejects social media claims of unfair teacher recruitment
The Andhra Pradesh government hires many teachers through a big exam called Mega DSC-2025.
Some people on social media said the government chose disabled candidates unfairly and left out good candidates.
The government said that is not true.
A top official, Tamim Ansariya, explained that the rules give some seats to people with disabilities, and that is allowed by law.
She said two examples people shared online were explained by these rules.
One candidate who did very well was still not chosen because that seat went to a visually impaired candidate under the quota.
The official also said the sports achievements of people chosen for sports quota jobs were checked carefully.
Someone shared a fake audio clip about sports jobs, and the police arrested that person.
The government promised to follow all rules and be honest.

School education commissioner Tamim Ansariya said the selection followed merit, the roster system, and GO Ms No 77, which mandates horizontal reservation for PwBD candidates.
The Mega DSC-2025 recruitment for 16,347 teacher posts drew 5.77 lakh applications from 3.36 lakh candidates, with 15,941 candidates approved for selection.
Officials clarified that Devagupta Santhoshi Parvathi (92nd rank, PGT English) and V V V Bhaskar Reddy (68th rank, School Assistant) missed selection after EWS vacancies were filled on general merit or allotted to eligible PwBD candidates.
SAAP vice-chairperson Bharani said sports quota selections were verified through recognised associations, and an FIR was registered after an audio clip relating to sports quota jobs surfaced.
