A Faridabad family alleged that gold jewellery and valuables worth nearly Rs 20 lakh vanished from their locker at Punjab National Bank's Railway Road branch in Old Faridabad.
Locker No. A-46 was drilled open on July 28 after the customer's original key stopped working on July 21, while the bank's master key functioned normally.
The missing valuables include around 148.5 grams of gold jewellery and seven antique silver coins, valued at Rs 18.02 lakh in the FIR.
A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) examination found no signs of forced opening on the locker, according to the Investigating Officer.
The family has sought transfer of the investigation to the Crime Branch or Economic Offences Wing.
Republic TV's reporting team was denied entry to the PNB branch while seeking the bank's response.
