Woman finds ₹50 lakh jewellery missing from SBI locker
A lady named Rashmi Arora kept her jewellery and valuable things in a bank locker many years ago.
In 2003, she opened a locker at a bank in Kanpur, India.
She later moved to another city and could not visit the bank for a long time.
The bank kept taking small fees from her account, so she thought the locker was still safe.
When she finally went back, the bank let her open the locker with staff present.
To her surprise, the locker was completely empty.
She says things worth ₹50 lakh were inside and now they are gone.
She thinks the bank workers took her things.
The police are now looking at bank records and camera footage to find out what happened.
No one knows yet who emptied the locker.
Rashmi Arora opened locker number 23 at the then State Bank of Travancore branch in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur, in 2003.
She claimed jewellery and valuables worth ₹50 lakh were missing when she opened the locker on July 27 with bank staff present.
